The Central California Better Business Bureau nominated for Kern Green Awards

The Central California Better Business Bureau is proud to announce it's nomination for the Kern Green Awards in the category of Green Service for the community. This award recognizes a business that goes above and beyond to provide a green public service to Kern County Residents.
The BBB proudly serves the community by offering shredding events to the public. With a minimal donation, the consumer may drop off boxed documents for shredding. All proceeds are donated to various local non-profit organizations. This eliminates waste, encourages recycling and protects from identity theft as well as benefits local charities.
Since 2007, the BBB has shredded more than 218 tons of paper and donated close to $43,000.
The BBB prides itself on giving back to the community and we are honored to be acknowledged in this capacity.
The winner will be announced at the award ceremony on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 6:00pm at AERA ENERGY LLC located at 10000 Ming Avenue, Bakersfield Ca. Cost of tickets are $45 and are tax deductible
