Merced Mall will be the place to be on Saturday, June 6, as your BBB hosts the third annual Community Alliance Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Consumers will have the opportunity to learn more about how to deal with complaints about automotive services, consumer affairs, local health and well-being services and organizations as well as social security benefits and much more.
In addition to the inside booths, Shred It & Forget It! will be taking place in the parking lot. This is your opportunity to clean your closets, attics and garages and protect your identity at the same time. Bring up to three boxes of documents and Shred-It, a professional mobile shredding company, will provide on-site destruction while you watch. There is a voluntary $3/box donation for additional boxes that will be used for Reality Check, the BBB’s life skills program for teens.
Both events are FREE and open to the public. Call 383-3590, ext. 331 or ext. 332 for more information.
