Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the U.S. According to a recent study released by the Better Business Bureau over 8.4 million people became a victim of identity theft in 2006. In that same year the economic loss was a staggering 49.3 billion dollars!

Fortunately, while not completely preventable, you can take steps to protect yourself.

Shred It & Forget It is an event held to give residents and small businesses an opportunity to dispose of their unwanted personal financial/confidential documents.

The shredding services are provided by a BBB accredited business which will have a mobile shredding truck on location to destroy all the sensitive material. The first two boxes are free. Each additional box is $3 per box.

Shred events are usually held on weekends in various cities throughout central California. Hours for Shred It & Forget It are held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (call or visit events page for specifics)
